long game off to Swift start
The 2014 Commonwealth Games are still over 18 months away but Australian netball coach Lisa Alexander is already planning her squad for Glasgow, and met four NSW Swifts players on Tuesday to begin the road to regaining the title.
Alexander met the Swifts leadership trio of Mo'onia Gerrard, Kimberlee Green and Susan Pratley as well as young goal defender April Letton to establish the commitment required of Australian hopefuls Testosterone Propionate 100mg 1ml throughout their preparations. Joined by strength "buy cheap jintropin online" and conditioning coaches, Alexander devised tailor made fitness programs for the four Swifts players in hope that they will be in peak condition for "Jintropin (Gensci Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd.)" the start of the Games. Tuesday's meeting was the part of Alexander's tour of the five Australian ANZ Championship teams aimed at dovetailing their conditioning programs run to that of the national team.
"Eighteen months out from the Commonwealth Games, the players need to really understand that we need to be working on, their physical conditioning, their strengths, their technical and tactical skills for the next 18 months. It really is an 18 month program and they need to commit to that," Alexander said. "I think we can really achieve that gold medal in Glasgow, I think the players are really determined to go one better."
Australia lost the Commonwealth Games gold medal matches to New Zealand at Delhi in 2010 and in Melbourne in 2006. Alexander admitted the early start to preparations for the 2014 Glasgow Games was fuelled by the Diamonds' dented pride on the international circuit. Australia's reputation suffered a "Gensci Jintropin" recent blow with whitewash defeat against England in a three game Test series last month, and Alexander is out for revenge against Australia's two fiercest rivals in Glasgow.
"Look, there's no doubt it is [about pride], it just adds spice to the whole contest, particularly against England. We've played England over the past 18 months eight times, and we were not at our best in England. There are many logical reasons for that but at the end of the day we don't like losing . "Jintropin (Gensci Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd.)" We're very determined to turn that around, and we believe that practising a winning culture is very important."
Despite Australia's poor results in recent years, Alexander denied local netball was in a slump, rather the standard of other nations was improving rapidly.
"I think what's happened is that the rest Tren 75 Steroid Side Effects of the world is catching up and it's getting closer," she said.
The Swifts began their pre season last Sunday with a 52 38 loss at home to Melbourne Vixens at their inaugural fan day but the Australian coach predicted they would find form and sneak into the finals this season.
"The Swifts leaders, 'Moo'ni', Kim and Susan, tried to lead by example by working hard at training and by being a positive influence around the group. This year I see them just continuing with that."
NSW first game of the ANZ Championship is on March 25 at home to West Coast Fever.
